I'm originally from a tiny village in Northern Michigan, but I now call Los Angeles my home. I'm really into hiking, hugging every animal I meet, and exploring places all over California!
To me, photographs will always be the most sacred way to record our history. I own one image from my grandparent's elopement, a black and white still of them kissing after they made it official. Even though both of them are no longer alive, I can feel all their love and souls come to life in that one photograph. That moment would have been lost to everyone else in the world, but it exists forever now because of photography. I think that's pretty freakin' cool, and it is such an honor to be able to call myself a preserver of memories.
